This web site is mainly aimed at web site search engine optimization, and the problems that you can encounter within web site design. The techniques that are used are briefly touched on here, and there is a glossary of web site search engine optimization techniques at the bottom of the page. If there is something that you think needs to be on here, please feel free to email me (bottom of the page).
Below are the links to the pages that I have made up to demonstrate different web site search engine optimization techniques that webmasters have used to try and fool the search engines. This is known as spamdexing (see search engine glossary for more information). These techniques have once worked but are now a big hindrence to search engine spiders. Below are some examples of what not to do when thinking about web site search engine optimization.
If you would like to know how all this works, follow the links below for an explaination on the theory behind these outdated search engine optimization techniques:

In future there will be more comprehensive information on the search engines. I will most likely start with search engine spider information. This information is good mainly for people that want to use the search engine optimization technique called cloaking (see search engine glossary for more information). Cloaking makes use of the search engine spider's IP addresses and also User Agent names. Cloaking is for the more serious search engine optimization enthusiast. You will generally need access to your own webserver with the capability of setting up such software.
Stay tuned though, there will be more information regarding allround search engine optimization help. This information is going to be published in the web site search engine optimization variables page. This section will mainly deal in design issues that every webmaster can use for free. Cloaking tends to be more aimed at companies and businesses rather than the everyday person.
